Hated it......
You cant relax with locals onto you all the time for money. Lots of nasty little gangs around the tourist places. Went to Bob Marleys house in the mountains and the car we were in was pelted with stones when we left.
Been all over the West Indies and love it.....but would never return to Jamaica.
Stayed in the complex (Sandals Montego Bay) Lovely beach and great facilaties but we could have been anywhere..

I went to Negril on the west coast.The most beautiful beach i've ever seen or am ever likely to see.
Also a handily placed crack kitchen in the woods just adjacent to the beach.
The locals are on the ponce non stop though , got right on my tits in the end.For this reason i spent a lot of time in the complex

I've never been there.
But like most other countries, people have there horror stories.
Pretty sure if you go there with an open mind, expect a few ponces here and there (like most countries that far afield) you'll have a great time.

Dunn river falls is ok and worth a trip. Apart from that I thought it was a terrible place. Mexico wins hands down in that area for me. All the locals just view you as a meal ticket. The service was terrible too, you ask hotel staff to do omethign and they say 'no problem man', but then they dont fucking do a thing.

Enjoy, I hated the place. they ram Bob Marley constantly down your throat. Every ting is 'ireeeeete'. Everyone everywhere on the Island was on the take, constantly asking for dollars from the coach driver to the tour guide, everyone.
